Sculptress in the desert: Indnegev
2010 and 2011
Durring the last 2 summers I have been currating and making art for the Indnegev festival (an alternative music and arts festival in Israel) as part of a team of artists called Art – e – zachan.
Tom Gal and myself are Co art directors of the festival, together we have worked on projects including all things circus – freak, optical illusions, nautical, nonsensical and sinking into the desert sand.
This year we also currated a connected exhibition of art works from selected artists from all over Israel, under the title “We Are The Circus”. Our Art team Art – e – zahen were responsible for decoration and designing the general appearance of the festival.
Join us again for a disscovery of desert festival art and music at the end of next summer for Indinegev 2012..

From the little I know from israeli music and specially festivals, I know this festival is insanelly new, both cronologically and from the perspective of israeli music history.
I’ve been in Israel and I loved this new generation of musicians, producers, festivals… Metropolin, Panic Ensemble, Michael Frost, in-d-negev, Yael Kraus, Yael Naim, Efrat Gosh… really cool!
